Tourist attraction

There's no tourist who stomp the Brazilian soil and don't looking for Havaianas, flip-flops made by São Paulo Alpargatas. They were inspired in the Zori, japonese flip-flops made of rice straw or splinted wood and that are used with the kimonos. Here, in Brazil, they were made of rubber.

In Brazil about 2 billions of pairs were sold since their introduction in 1962. The Havaianas are exported from Brazil to all the world. It reached a big world successful.

The more traditional style is the white flip-flop with blue straps and sides. In late years, the countries that have been buying the Havaianas a lot are the USA and Finland.

Due to the big successful the simple flip-flops developed and today they are produced in more sophisticated with different applications and formats. The most well-known slogan of the product is "As legítimas". Many famous people appear in advertising campaigns. Many stiles are sold in Brazilian supermarkets and shopping centres such as Baby (flip-flops that tie in heel), Brasil (flip-flops with the Brazilian flag in their straps), Patterneds, High (styles with high heels), Kids, Traditional and others.

There is a true parade at the beaches with tourists wearing Havaianas in their feet.

Haven't you bought yours yet?
